Description
A simple ring mold. Print in PLA and use 100% silicone caulk with a drop of glycerine and a drop of acrylic paint for color. Mix well and apply to the insides of the mold with a small spatula or popsicle stick. insert the core and rotate to help even out voids as you press the core into the mold. Allow to cure overnight and trim excess.
I use a similar mold for robotic wheels designed by Team Panic.
The above formula for mixing silicone works with 100% silicone that uses acetic cure (the smelly vinegar type). I'm not a chemist and don't know about residual chemicals and such in household silicone so use your best judgement if you wear this daily (probably ok but I can't back that up with science).
The original mold is for a size 11? ring with a 20mm inner diameter.
