Dinosaur Coat Rack

Inspired by a [Coat Rack by Vertbaudet](https://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/coat-rack-with-pegs-dinosaurs-beige-light-solid-with-design.htm?ProductId=705010987) dinosaur 3D models found on Thingiverse were used to design an original dinosaur coat rack. The models used are: - [Triceratops](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:250645) by [mundocani](https://www.thingiverse.com/mundocani) _{([CC-BY-SA](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/))} - [Tyrannosaurus Rex Figurine 3D Scan](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1035239) by [3DWP](https://www.thingiverse.com/3DWP) _{([CC-BY-SA](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/))} - [Stegosaurus](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4176787/files) by [Mmel](https://www.thingiverse.com/Mmel) _{([CC-BY](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/))} The models were cropped and resized in order to reach a uniform size of about 6 cm. Additionally, two 3mm holes were added in order to fasten each dinosaur to the baseplate with wood screws. The baseplate (400 × 100 mm) is made of plywood (4 mm). It was designed in two variants. One variant allows fixing the rack from the back side. With the correct settings, when using a Laser Cutter, red concentric circles in a Laser Cutter file form a semi-hole through the material. The second variant allows fixing the rack from the front side. However, the space between the hole and the dinosaur heads might be quite small and adding the screws might prove difficult. For printing the dinosaurs it is recommended to use additional wall lines (at least four) and slightly more infill. Außerdem wurden jeweils zwei 3 mm Löcher hinzugefügt, um eine Befestigung an der Grundplatte mithilfe von Holzschrauben zu ermöglichen. Die Grundplatte (400 × 100 mm) besteht aus Sperrholz (4 mm). Erstellt wurde sie in zwei Varianten. Eine Variante ist für die Befestigung von hinten gedacht. Die roten konzentrischen Kreise ergeben mit den korrekten individuellen Einstellungen im Lasercutter dabei eine halb durchgehende Bohrung. Die zweite Variante ermöglicht das Festschrauben von vorn, wobei es dabei recht knapp an den Dinos vorbei zu schrauben ist. Für den Druck der Dinos empfiehlt sich eine größere Anzahl an Wandlinien (mindestens vier) sowie gegebenenfalls etwas mehr Infill.
