Plastic is nice!! wood is nice! Reconciled together they are even better!
You may consider yourself making nice stuff out of wood but cant afford the expensive tools or have enough room for them? But you have a 3d Printer and some basic machinery to process wood?
Then this is a nice little project for you and maybe your family :)
Avoid using too much plastic but use wood for easy structures instead.
Here you need a 20 mm wooden rod and some 6 mm wooden rods. How long should they be? You decide! Simply fit it to your requirements. Or use other materials than wood!
Wood does not always have exact dimensions. So you may need to fit the parts together. So drill the 6 mm holes after printing (as rectangular as possible) and sand the wood down to a good fit. Or heat the plastic parts up a little bit with a torch! Chamfer the 6mm rods with a pencil sharpener from both Sides.
Have fun printin and assembling!
