Description
This is a hobbyist airbrush paint booth. Companies charge an arm and a leg for a piece of plastic with a fan and a filter. I made this design based on what I saw out in the markets. I had a friend cut out the poster board on a hobbyist laser cutter, but it could just as well be hand cut with a utility knife and a strait edge. I "welded" it all together with the crafts enthusiast go to; the hot glue gun. The fans are 120mm computer cooling fans. There is no need to buy the fancy LED one as these will be hidden anyways. I had some laying around from past computer builds. You will need a 12v DC power supply which can be harvested from many consumer electronic gadgets that you may have laying around the house. The filters can be bought online from an number of retailers and website. The hardware used to mount the fans to the frame were M4-.70 x 35 Machine Screws, 4mm Flat Washers, and M4-.70 Hex Nuts. Don't tighten the fasteners down with reckless abandon. I just used my finders and nothing more. You will need to poke a hole for the wires to come out of. You can choose where the location of the wires best suits your needs. I hope that you enjoy this thing and that it works for your hobbying needs.
