Description
Hello,
After quite a few dismantleing of the Extruder for failt Filament changes, i was fed up. :-(
A new solution for this Problem must be found.
And i have see the new Anet A8 Plus.
There have a new extruder Cooling solution with a small heat sink.
The old Anet A6 / A8 have a big head sink. Something can be done there :-)
Here my new solution for the Extruder cooling Fan.
You need:
Update the Cabel Chain Holder to -> Extruder end New (from me)
40mm extruder Tube
Drilling Maschine
Driller 6mm
Driller 4mm
Pen
Extruder Fan Holder (Print before)
M3 Screw 20mm 2x (for the Extruder)
M3 Screw 16mm 4x (for the Fan)
M4 Screw 16mm 1x (for the Extruder)
Step1: ( Pic 001 to Pic 005)
Print the Fan Holder
Step 2: (no Pic -> Sorry)
Dismantel the extruder
Step 3: (Pic 006)
Assembel the extruder
M3 Screw 20mm 2x
Step 4: (Pic 007)
Assembel the Fan on the new Fan Holder
M3 Screw 16mm 4x
and attach it on the Extruder Holder with the lower Screw from the other cooling Fan
Step 5: (Pic 008 to Pic 010)
Place the Heat Sink on the Extruder Holder and mark the drill holes.
After that, drill the holes, 6mm for the extruder Tube, 4mm for the M4 Screw 16mm Fixing Screw
Step 6: (Pic 011)
Fix the Heat Sink with the Extruder on the Extruder Holder
M4 Screw 16mm 1x
Step 7: (no Pic -> Sorry)
Now assembel the new 40mm extruder Tube, the nozzel and the Hotend
and assembel it on the Extruder.
Fixing it with the nut.
Step 8: (Pic 012)
Assembel the Heat element an the Temp sensor
Finish
new bed leveling -> Happy Printing :-)
