Bench Dog Doggy dog dogs Wood Working Wisdom

Just had some need for bench dogs and think the ones here on thingiverse are too much plasticy :)

Here is my Wood´n plastic Solution. As you need these for woodworking you should be able to make them yourself ,-)

Simply pressfit a 20mm wooden rod inside. If this is too loose for you glue them together or use a screw to connect wood n plastic.

Since the dogs here are quite new I cant give you long term experiences about their strength yet. So make your own experiments!

There are plenty more forms you can create with this Idea. So tell me your favorite form or remix it yourself!

You might need to sand the rods down a little to have a nice fit into your workbench 20mm holes. Or use Metal instead of wood.
