Description

Tired of dangling your Power Link & breaking the ethernet jack then finding out that the company no longer repairs said broken jacks for $50?

Look no further! With this enclosure not only does it make your Power Link twice the size & quite bulky, but it adds the option for two ethernet jacks in the end to be configured to uit your needs! (I'm looking at YOU Cambium!)

6-32 screws are used to fasten everything together. Provided your printer is dialed in, you should still need to drill the holes to 1/8 inch diameter for a thread in tight fit.

I used legrand Cat 5e RJ45 inserts, slightly modified to remove the locking tabs, then once I punched down my chosen wire configuration (Standard TIA568A on one, Cambium's flipped blues/browns on the other) I punch in a short length of flat Cat 5e to a jack (about an inch of slack between jack & inserts) to plug in to the Power Link.

Verify you can power your devices, press the jacks in to the portside end, a small smear of hot glue to secure, & then assemble.

Your mileage may vary, no guarantees issued.

I use 3/4" 6-32 for the end, 2" 6-32 for the port side.

Printed with a 1mm nozzle.
