Description
I've seen some clips for the adv 3 and a glass bed, and it dont work for me. So i designed some edge clips by myself as my very first project on FreeCAD.
The glass bed is a 165x165mm plate from ebay seller: https://www.ebay.de/itm/303171068149
When printed, just put the glass on the metal bed, push down and slip the clips over the edge. aktually i rised the nozzle by 2mm.
And for the stickyness of the print, i tried normal glue stick at first, but the test cube stucks so hard to the glass, that i need to soak it in soap water for some hours and searched for an alternative. and i fount it. its called 3dlac plus and is the best adhesive i've seen until now.
Update:
as i printed it in PLA and my heated bed touches the Edges, they slidgly deformed after some long time prints.
Either you print it in PETG or ABS, (I've ordered a role of PETG now) and/or you use V2 which is thicker and more stable.
Update 2:
For those guys who have a smaler build plate, i tried something ;) I added a liddle nudge on the inner top edge which gives the glas more friction. Or at least i think this should do. Please feel free to test v3 and leave your feedback in the comment section. Thank you!
