Description
I build a case for my printer and had to move some parts.
When I found that switch-holder it gave me the idea of that plate. It´s a great design, but I dislike the fact that the plugs are free to touch...
The plate got holes for the original display-srews and the screws for drop-in V-slots. (made three holes, just for the safety... still used only two ;-))
You will need 80cm cable inkl. plugs for the switch
the swtich https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07ZS3PVJS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
the SD-Card extentioner https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07JCY44B5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
1 cable strab
The back is pretty thick, but otherwise the switch wouldn't have enough space. It's still pretty tight, maybe you must bend the uppder plug a bit.
I pushed the new cabel through the cableconduit of the displaycable. It really is hard work, but it´s worth it ;-)
Then all cable went trough the calbehole of the plate and the ones for the switch go out on the bottom and right back inside the switchhole.
The SD-Card extension is much more easy to install.
Just push the extension gently through the hole of the plate (I used tweezers) and finish. Becouse optical reasons I removed the protection plate of the printer and moved the SD-slot a bit.
Hope you enjoy :-)
