Description
During a long 3D print, the temperature in my printer case raised too high. So I was searching for an opportunity to switch on a fan if the temperature in my printer-case raised over 30 deg.
I found the really cool project to use Octroprint to measure temperature and switch a relay board:
To control my printer, I use Octoprint anyway, and I like the possibility for an automatize a temperature depending fan controlling with the used hardware.
My Octoprint-case is modified to enable a 1 and although 2 channel relay board and a 40mm fan to cool the raspberry pi.
I use the Raspi-Cam with an screw on ball joint for the webcam.
For my printer-case, I used a 12V PC fan with an extra 12v power supply and a temperature sensor. I have linked it, but I am sure, you can use a different one.
I hope you like the design. Likes and comments are welcome!
