Description
If the pin that holds your top strap ever breaks, just print this out and glue it to the top of the HMD and thread the strap though it. For best results, rough up the attachment base and the attachment area of the G2 with sandpaper to give the glue a better grip. Super glue gel (cyanoacrylate) works well. Be careful not to get any glue near the lenses!
I printed one in PLA and glued it to a plastic power supply to test the strength. It easily held a 5 pound weight.
This is sized to fit the strap of the HP Reverb G2. It would be easy to resize for headsets with a thicker strap.
