Smartphone Car Mount (CD Attachment)

A complete product will require one mount, one core, and one case (from the STL files).

The "Mount" is inserted into the CD player. I would recommend wrapping plumbers tape around the part that inserts the CD player for a tighter fit.

The "Core" can be printed with "Core_Straight.STL" or "Core_LeftAngled.STL." Depending on your preference, the straight variation will extend the mount straight out from the CD player, while the left-angled core will tilt the mount toward the driver's seat.

The "Case" will hold the phone and is designed to allow for a phone charger. The "Case_Centered.STL" vertically centers the phone with the CD player, while the "Case_Lowered.STL" hangs the phone down from the CD player. I personally use the lowered variation, as the centered variation obstructs my car's dashboard monitor.

To attach the core to the case, I used pieces of wooden toothpick to hold the two pieces, and then I secured them together using a "JB Weld" adhesive.

NOTE: You only need to print one mount, one core, and one case for a complete product.
