Mic Stand Adapter for Mustool G600 Microscope

The stand that my Mustool G600 style microscope came with was pretty poor, so I designed this little adaptor to allow it to be easily mounted on a cheap microphone stand.

You will need the parts from the original stand (as shown in one of the photos attached), then just simply attach this in place of the microphone using the original thumbscrew.

There are two styles, one is slightly thicker with indentations either side where it attaches to the mic stand. I find this fits better for the stand I have. The other is totally flat on the sides and ha a thickness of 10mm.

Looking at my desk lamp, the extendable arm is the same size as the mic stand, so this should also work to attach it to a desk lamp instead.

I found the part of the mic stand that inserts into the desk clamp is pretty weak and bends out of shape easily. Due to this, I have also included a pin that you can insert inside it to give it some extra strength.
