Solar Filter holder for Sarblue Mak60 Telescope

Do not look directly into the sun without an appropriate filter.

I designed a solar filter holder for the Sarblue Mak60 telescope. There are three parts. The main part faces toward the sun. A 4" square filer is cut to the size of the two filter covers (70mm and 30mm square each). Each filter is placed within the recessed areas on the main filter holder. The shiny part of the filter should face towards the sun - facing down during the install. The covers are snapped into place, securing the filters. The larger should be fitted so that the mount to the telescope is pointing up. Once assembled it can be placed onto the telescope as shown. PLA should be fine, but may warp if left under the hot sun in a vehicle. ABS or PETG may be better materials. Tolerances may need to be adjusted for your specific printer. Tape may be applied to better secure the filters, however I did not find this necessary.
