Description
If you are a DIY person, and if you have a whirlpool dishwasher (mine was model WDF750SAYM3) and have run into a problem after a few years, where the dishwasher does not seem to clean properly any more, you may have a problem with the pump motor having worn out the original cheap graphite bearings (2) in the motor. When they are worn the pumping function is reduced. Check online for the actual problem to see that replacing the bearings could be a possible solution. Rather that spend a couple hundred dollars for a new pump housing, I used my resin printer to create new bearings. Solved my problem. Will see how long they will last. If I need another set, I will try and add some graphite to the resin.
