Spare Tire Hold-down

This is a tire hold-down for a Chevy Volt or Chevy Sonic. It should work for any spare tire with a 56mm center bore.

To assemble slip a M8 nut into the slot and insert a section of threaded rod (this should be a tight fit). Lock the rod into the nut with superglue once assembled. Screw the tire down into the proved M8 threaded hole in the vehicle.
