Description

This is a customizable rack for PB Swiss Tools BitBlock bit holders (PB970). You can customize the overall height and the number of BitBlocks.

It's ideal for use in a foam board but can be used stand-alone as well. The BitBlocks hold securely with a click and will not fall out or rattle. And it has a groove for the fingers to easily take the BitBlocks out. You will be printing two halves that will be glued together so it can be printed without support material.

There are STL files in size 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 rounded up in length to the next 2mm. For other sizes please customize it in Onshape.

Customize

You can customize the number of slots for BitBlocks as well was the overall length. Head over to Onshape and change the values under "Configuration" in the upper left.
You can then right-click on a part in the left sidebar and select "Export".

Customization Options

• Number of Blocks: The number of slots for PB 970 BitBlocks
• Rack Length: The overall desired length of the rack. Note that one BitBlock slot is 24.375mm so your overall length must be your number of slots multiplied by that, plus what ever additional length you require.

The reason why the overall length is configurable separately is so that you can make the rack longer in case the cutout in your foam board is longer. Or you can just use it to round to the next full millimeter.

For example, you you want 5 slots your rack length must be at least 121.875mm (5 x 24.375mm) but you can round it up to 125mm.
