Description
I saw someone share a photo of a commander deck box using a hard plastic toploader sleeve to showcase the commander on social media. I found a few similar deck box designs here like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3125452, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3999800, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4801100, and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4535321. I wanted to be able to fit several decks into my bag that I used to carry my MTG decks when I play with friends. I also wanted to display my decks.
I designed this deck box entirely in TinkerCAD. I have two designs. One is for one commander and the other is for partner commanders. I designed it to fit a complete commander deck either single or double sleeved with enough room for tokens. With single sleeved decks I can even fit a bunch of dice inside as well.
I designed the box with rounded corners making it easy to slide in and out of my favorite bag for my decks - an Amazon Basics Camera bag:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VPE1WK?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2ZDVZU2HEVBY6&coliid=I3W3H5TP0SUXRP&linkCode=sl1&tag=drcameron-20&linkId=17df3a67c7f4cca1f1e4e5ed049d3a5f&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl.
The boxes also stack nicely on a shelf or desk.
I still enjoy my graveyard deck box (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2235629) but this new design has taken over my family's deck storage for sure.
