This remix includes all of the connectors in the original Thing, plus several more. In addition, I totally re-did a few of them to use fully rounded corners instead of sharp corners.
Additional parts include:
- A "Test" part, which you should print first and test for good fit
- Parts for a basic "swivel joint". I used these in my folding kayak awning project.
- Two hinge pieces, for putting a sturdy hinge between two PVC pipes. I used these parts in my 3D printer enclosure Thing. See link below.
- A camera mount, which I also used on my folding kayak awning project
- An end plug and ball end cap
- A matching pair of hinge parts. See assembly notes for more details.
- A set of basic construction elements I used for this remix, and that you can use to build your own custom connectors. You can also resize them for any size PVC pipe, US or UK/EU, and do your own remix.
- a sphere, for base of connectors with two or more connections at an angle
- a barrel part, the same as outside diameter of US 1/2" PVC pipe
- a shaft part, the same as inside diameter of US 1/2" PVC pipe
- Door hionges and a door handle that bolts to a section of PVC. I also used these parts my PVC 3D printer enclosure Thing. See that project at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4850204
Like the original Thing, these parts are designed for a very snug fit into US standard 1/2" PVC pipe.
