Rack (Spool Holder) Gasket for Creality Sermoon D1

The Creality Sermoon D1 printer has its USB port located inside of the enclosure and I needed a way to connect the printer to my Raspberry Pi via USB. I did not want to have the enclosure doors open and I did not want the USB cord to come out through the top opening because it could interfere with the proper operation of the printer. Also, I observed that the printer's transparent baffle could get scratched over time by the rotating filament spool. This gasket addresses both issues by providing protection to the side baffle from the rotating spool and by allowing a USB cord to be routed through a gap in the existing rack (spool holder) opening while deflecting it away from the internal and external moving parts.

The following fasteners are required for proper assembly:

• Qty 2 metric M3 x 0.5 x 10 mm socket head cap screws (or similar fasteners close in length) with matched nuts.

Assembly:

• Part A goes inside;
• Part B goes outside;
• Part C in sandwiched in between; and
• The fasteners hold all the parts in place.
