DJI Mini 2 & Mavic Air 2/2s RC iPhone Holder

They way that an iPhone 11 Pro Max is secured in the RC for the DJI Mini 2 means that it interferes with the power & volume buttons and they can suddenly cause unwanted actions to the phone when in use, i.e. powering off the phone, not good in flight.

A simple fix up until now is to slide the phone more to one side, clearing these buttons but my OCD hates looking at an off centre phone in the holder.

I came up with a simple idea of a holder that clips to the phone with a high enough cutout to protect the buttons from being inadvertently pressed.

The main holder should be printed in PLA or similar hard plastic @ 0.2mm is perfectly fine for this item.

I have also included a grip model for extra security that needs to be printed in TPU or similar rubber grippy filament, again 0.2mm is fine for this.

The grip model is only 10mm long, just extend it in your slicer for you requirements, I used a 55mm piece & a 70mm piece.

Glue these TPU grips to the internal curve of the PLA holder, should be obvious as the profile matches. Gluing is tricky but I got away with regular super glue for now.

The length of the grips matter as they need to stop short of where the buttons on the phone line up with the holder, see pics, i.e. don't place grip where the button are going to be.

I made this to fit my iPhone 11 Pro Max, may fit other phones, I don't know.
