"Dispenser" with Containers
To be honest I have no idea what this is actually called (suggestions most welcome!) but it is definitely something incredibly useful. So in the absence of a gold standard I am calling this "dispenser". It simply attaches to the top of one of my screw cap containers (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4866835 ) and allows for "dispensing" whatever is stored in the container. ;-)
The dispenser is 80 mm (3.1") in diameter and I have included 3 sizes of containers (see the link above for the full set) to attach this to:
- 80 x 100 mm (3.1 x 3.9")
- 80 x 80 mm (3.1 x 3.1")
- 80 x 60 mm (3.1 x 2.4")
FILAMENT
- You've guessed it (at least if you have seen my other designs), I print the bodies using a
cheap and incredibly easy to print Carbon Fiber PLA , which gives this beautiful soft touch and half-matte shine,
- and the lids in
Silk Silver, Bronze, and Copper.
PRINTING
Printing is super easy. Print at 0.2+ resolution and with 30%+ infill. No supports or build plate adhesion needed.
ASSEMBLY
You will need a single M3 screw (8+ mm) and nut. Place part B (the disk) on top of Part A (the screw cap) and insert Part C (the little disk, which serves as a "bearing") and connect all this with your M3 screw/nut.
HOPE YOU LIKE THEM, AND IF YOU LIKE THEM, PLEASE LIKE THEM. THANKS!
Enjoy and happy printing!
