Description
Here are two paperweights that I am using on my desk. Both are from individual components that have been combined to create a complete castle in 1:288 scale. They could also be used as game markers or simply painted and displayed on a shelf.
This castle consists of individual modules added together. Each castle takes quite long to print out on the FDM printer - at 0.15mm layers and 0.4mm nozzle, I had nine hours for the smaller castle, and eleven for the larger one. At 0.05mm layer height and 12 sec. layer exposure time, the timeframe on a resin printer should be about the same, but the quality should be a good deal better than shown here in my picture (although with 55 g of resin per castle the cost would be higher too !).
Also, what use is a 3D printed castle paperweight on your desk after a while if you cannot take a walk inside it? If you follow this link you can explore the castle in a 3D unity game setting: https://play.unity.com/mg/other/webgl-builds-214863
