Window Blind / Shutter Distance Ring / Rollo Aufrollhilfe

Problem: Sometimes (motorized) window shutters run not smoothly. This results in loud cracking noises. Especially for heavy and long shutters this problem may occur. I have a door shutter which is from metall and quite heavy. It runs on the hexagon wheel of the old plastic shutter. The shutter diameter does not allign with the wheel diameter when retracted.
Solution:
The distance ring enlarges the wheel diameter. The shutter will then roll up smooth and without noise. I have this running for 1.5 years and the material resists fine. No problem since. The rings should be installed with about 30 cm distance. Typically you need 3 or 4.

Problem:
Elektrische Fensterrolladen rollen sich manchmal nicht sauber auf die Welle. Das führt zu lautem Knacken. Insbesondere bei schweren und langen Rollos kann das passieren. Ich habe einen Metallrollo an der Balkontür dieser ist ziemlich schwer. Es ist die übliche 6 kant Welle installiert. Der Aufroll Radius des Rollos passt nicht 100% zu der Welle.
Lösung:
Die Distanzringe vergrößern den Wellendurchmesser, so dass sich der Rollo sauber aufrollen kann. Die Knackgeräusche sind weg. Ich habe diese Ringe etwa 1.5 Jahre laufen und es gibt kein Problem. Die Ringe werden mit ca 15 cm vom Wellenende installiert. Der Abstand zwischen den Ringen soll etwa 30 cm betragen. Typischerweise benötigt man also 3-4 davon.
