Description
Toothpick Dispenser
This was original designed to make out of some hardwood, but I haven't gotten around to it yet, so I decide to do a quick mock up of it to print. Currently it will hold about 32 (16 per side) toothpicks. Might make it a little taller in the future to hold more.
PRINTING NOTES:
Material: Doesn't mater
Infill: 10
Speed:100 (w/.06 Nozzle)
Adhesion: Skirt
Supports: No
PRINTING POSITIONS:
• Base and Sides, can be printed as shown.
• Divider and (2) Roof halves lay flat.
ASSEMBLLY:
Check the fit of the divider into the base to make sure the ends of the divider go all the way to the ends of the slot in the base. I did slightly sand just the bottom part of the corner edges for this to make it easier.
Check the fit with the sides installed. Remove the divider and put the side pieces on and reinstall the divider. Work the side pieces up and down until it pushes the bottom parts of divider out and glides smoothly.
Remove the divider again and put a drop or two of super glue on the bottom of each section of the divider and reinstall and work the side pieces up and down again until it glides smoothly.
Glue the two roof halves together. Put a small drop of super glue on the two end joining surfaces for just the roof halves (not the underneath to the sides). Set them into place on top of the side pieces to make sure they are at the right angle, and push them together until the glue is dry.
Check to make sure everything is working properly and then glue the roof in place to the side pieces.
HAPPY PRINTING!
