Ingress Faction Pendants (ENL/RES for Earrings, Necklaces, etc)

Here are Enlightened and Resistance faction logos for the AR-game Ingress, done in such a manner that they are light-weight and exact shape outline.

They are intended to be used as e.g. necklaces, decorative accessories (like attached to a bag), or as earrings. Use your imagination and see the attached images as examples - handy little gifts for all your Ingress friends. :)

There are two model variants for both logos regarding their attachment. First and easier to print is a plain hole - this one, depending on the use, may require additional metal parts (for example, see the additional metal ring parts in the earrings). Second variant has a "half-donut" shaped extra hook to make the pendants more comfortable to use as-is, since e.g. in necklaces the string goes directly through it and doesn't twist in a 90-degree angle (see e.g. the pin in the army bag).

Both logos have a two-layered shape, with smaller upper layer than than bottom layer. This is for consistency, since the ENL logo required "bridging" underneath due to separate parts in the logo. The RES logo could be printed without the lower half portion if needed, since it's one solid object.

Printing:

I suggest 100% infill, due to the small size of the objects. With PLA they are still very light-weight and comfortable to use (less than 10g), but heavy enough so that they don't flap around wildly.

For lore reasons, I suggest a green color filament for the Enlightened logo, and a blue color filament for the Resistance logo. I used a green metal tint color for the ENL examples, and two variations of blue for the RES examples (a lighter cyan for the earrings, and a darker blue metal tint for the pin swag).

Depending on your printer, you may wish to reduce speed. The objects are very consistent in the Z-axis direction, so more precision in that direction will not probably affect anything significantly. The ENL logo has smoother and more hollowed shapes than the RES logo, thus former possibly requiring a bit more tuning for a better outcome.

Dimensions:

Both faction logos are 2mm thick. I found this a comfortable size for decorative use. If you use the half-donut attachment, this increases raw bounding box height to 7mm.

Both pendants are roughly 20mm wide and 40mm high.
