This is a stand for the original Malahit DSP2 radio receiver from
[email protected]
I designed this because I prefer to use the Malahit in a 45° tilted position, which is a lot more fun than to use it at 0° or 90°.
Please note that the big version is a tight fit; so
be sure to check the result after some layers before printing the whole thing. You could try to print in 101% size for x and y, when oriented in the printer like in the picture I supplied.
I added two "light" versions (2b, 2c), to improve the audio and for a faster printing experience.
The "light" versions should fit without any problems. At least they did when printed with my UM3.
Version 2b is easier to grip.
Note 15-Sep-2021: I added a smaller version (MalahitDSP1Stand_123mm.stl) for the Malahit DSP1. Try at your own risk. I don't own a DSP1, so I could not verify if it fits...
Note 16-Sep-2021: upon request I added another version for the DSP2 with a front tilt angle of 52° instead of the standard 45°.
Note 16-Sep-2021: I added another "light" DSP2 version with a front tilt angle of 65° and 45° (MalahitDSP2Stand2b_65_45DEG.stl). Just turn it around to use the other angle. My current personal favorite.
Note 17-Sep-2021: due to an initial mis-measurement of the lenght of the DSP1 I had to correct the DSP1 model. The new model file name is MalahitDSP1Stand_123mm.stl. If you downloaded the DSP1 stand before Sep 17th, discard the model file and get the new one. Have fun.
Note 06-Nov-2021: Due to a request by petrivan I increased the thickness of the side parts to improve the stability of this (MalahitDSP2Stand2b_65_45DEG.stl) model. Good proposal, I appreciate it.
