Description
Tronxy XY3 board housing created by extending the original housing height to accommodate a power supply and an RPi.
The original housing is placed face down, a sidewall extension is bolted on using the original rear cover mount points.
Rpi and the 12V to 5V buck converted is mounted on the cover. 12V supply is tapped from the controller. These boards don't have mounting holes and thus hot-glued in place.
The base is essentially a tray bolted onto the printer frame and the entire assembly sits inside.
