Description
This thing is a part that the grill companies call a "Leg Extension". I inserts into the frame and allows a threaded wheel (1/2in)(12.67mm) to attach to the grill for mobility. The opening in the square tubing frame is (.95in)(24mm).
I redesigned it to beef up the areas prone to breaking.
Not gunna lie, I used supports and, although the supports came out, it was a major pain in the rear. I had to ream a couple of mm's from the edge of the threaded hole but the the threads worked like magic.
This is for a Char-Broil 6 burner grill but I'm guessing most manufactures use the same tubing.
I included the SolidWorks part profile if anyone need to modify it for their particular application.
