Description
first off, "love this frame so much", but i did run into a few issues that have nothing to do with frame design. the one piece design is great if you can get the supports out without damaging the craft. i actually broke 2 of these trying to hulk out the supports in the center. then got my flight controller in and was like yep thats not ever moving again.then realizing i needed to put camera in later. doh! so for the sake of after assembly additions or repairs. i was (Forced) to alter your beautiful design, and tried to do so minimal way and trying to avoid adding any weight like some others have in makes but did not share... cough. this solved all my problems tho hope it helps others as well.
my print process:
.3 layers showed best results for me taking time into consideration, entire print finishes in under 4 hours with no noticeable defects in surface quality.
infill gyroid if you have to ask why you probably have never tried it. (gives strength in all directions making the model feel more "rigid" without sacrificing durability.) 40% results in a frame weighing 42 grams with screws.
supports: set ur angle to 80 in cura and the arms will not fill but the mandatory overhangs will still be covered and easily removed.
