Description
I had my Y-axis Stepper break on me. Took me over two weeks to figure out how to fix it. because replacements at the time were hard to find. I found 5mm Rods on amazon and pressed out the old rod. Then I used some thread locker to hold the new rod in place of the stepper motor (magnet).
you'll need
5mmx100mm rods
thread locker
and the 5mm dia 20 teeth x 7mm length gear (you can press on the old one if you so chose. I just found it easier to buy them off amazon.
