She-Ra Princess of Power Sword of Protection - designed using the original drawing and filled with glowing leds so you can print it with or without places for electronics.
The not required list of electronics:
- ESP-WROOM-32D (or compatible) - firmware arduino source file is attached too.
- BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B (SK6812）5.5mm Width Super Narrow RGB 5050SMD - blade leds, need 54 leds.
- BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B RGB 5050SMD Individual Addressable 3.3FT 144(2X72) - gem leds, needs just 6 leds (3+3).
- MakerFocus 6pcs 2A 5V Charge Discharge Integrated Module - need to desolder the key button.
- 3.7V 2000mAh Lithium Rechargable Battery 1S 3C
- Taidacent High Power 24V 200mm One-to-Many Long Distance Wireless Charging Pad - the place was designed for that, but not working as expected due to the close battery location.
- Anmbest 10 Pack 3 Pins AMS1117-3.3 DC 4.75V-12V to 3.3V Voltage Regulator - used to convert 5V to 3.3V for ESP32
- ESP32 programmator: ESP32 Test Burn Board - very useful to test & flash the small esp32 boards.
Unfortunately it has a couple of issues:
- The wireless charging is not working due to the battery placed nearby, so needs some external port to provide 5v for charging the internal battery.
- Fragile - the hand of the sword have the steel rod, but the blade doesn't contain anything but you could add a aluminium rod there if you want.
- Charge/discharge module - the module will be powered since power draw is here even when the controller is sleeping. The initial poweron could be done via charging, or you can solder the button to wires and to the board to have a way to power it on when it's needed.
The double blue gem better to print out of blue transparent resin - with a touch of sanding and polish they will look beautiful.
