Bird Feeder Perch Addition for Bird Temple 2852328

This is a perch addition for the “Bird Temple” by Job Smolders, April 6, 2018, Thing: 2852328.

The major issue with this design is that there is insufficient area for birds to perch making the bird feeder more decorative than useful.

It was only after adding this perch when a variety of birds from Finches to Cardinals used it on a daily basis.

Print 6 perches for each entryway and glue to the underside of the feeder as the image demonstrates. I used Bob Smith Industries Cyanoacrylate glue as I did when originally assembling the print. It has never failed over the years.

My feeder has been outside in the Florida tropical sun with upwards of 100 degrees’ for well over 2 years without any deterioration using standard PLA. Looks like new even today. After 2+ years I decided to spray with several coats of external KRYON ColorMaxx clear coat.
