1.75mm Filament Clip (Universal)

New Edition (14-Jan-2022):

Added v3 and v4. I have added these versions which have smaller holes to hold the filament. If v1/v2 are not holding the filament please try v3/v4. v3 is for used rolls and v4 works for full and used.

Added v2 and changed "FilamentClipSunlu" to "UniversalFilamentClipv1". v2 is designed to fit a full roll of filament with a shorter inner leg.

Initial Release:

This is a remix of the 1.75mm filament clip by Andor Yoko. I use Sunlu brand filament and their clip was not strong enough to stay on the Sunlu brand filament roll. Also the clip did not extend past the ridge on the outside.

I took the idea of their design and completely remade it from scratch. It now holds very well to the side of the thinnest of filament rolls. (Clip spacing is 1.5mm at the pinch point) But it also has a decent sized bubble to allow the clip to expand onto thicker filament rolls.

The filament holding portion of the the clip is big enough to slide filament in from the side but it is open on top to allow the filament to be clipped in with a satisfying "snap" sound. :)
