Description
I've designed this catapult to play with my kids during xmas holidays.
Since it's so much fun and easy to build I though I would share it with you ;)
• Basic print settings that works fine :
0.2mm layers / 3 walls/ 15-20 % infill for big parts, 50-70 for small mechanical ones (pivots)
standard PLA is strong enough (just don't put it close to a radiator/ hair dryer ;)
The quantity you need to print of each part is in the name (eg: wheels_x4 means you have to print 4 wheels).
• Notes :
Works with any classic rubber band
You might need to clean a bit some parts with a cutter before assembly.
I've included a "trigger" option if you want to give it a try (I prefer the lever one)
You can choose to have the lever/trigger on the right side or the left one depending if you're right handed or not.
A little drop of glue here and there will make it super strong (just don't glue the arm obviously). I recommend to make a trial fit before you glue anything though.
Hope you and your kids will like it!
If so, likes/shares/feedback and tips are much appreciated ;)
Enjoy,
Alex
