Disclaimer: This is a work in progress so it's not perfect yet. The bigger mazes required quite a bit of sanding for them to rotate smoothly. You might want to print maze 6 at 101% scale, maze 7 at 102%, maze 8 at 103%, maze 9 at 104% and maze 10 at 105% scale.
This is my take on the rotating maze puzzle. Unlike most of the mazes I've seen out there, this design puts the mazes on the inside of the cylinder so you can't see it while solving. There are 10 mazes that nest in each other, where you have to solve the outer-most maze to start the next. I designed it to be as time consuming and frustrating as possible. There is a little space in the middle for a note or money or something
Some tips:
The mazes are press fit so you should hear a couple of clicks as you push it closed. make sure it is pushed in at least most of the way. You don't want an inner maze coming lose, it makes it much harder to solve the current maze (and not in a good way). Because of the press fit you may also need something to pry the maze out of the press fit, I have been using a screwdriver and keys with good success. This will not be a problem with the next version.
If you find yourself unable to solve a maze, there are two tricks:
Make sure to check the print settings and post printing.
please give feedback! I want suggestions on how to improve it!
