Description

This is a mashup of two Thingiverse designs:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566939 (Ender 3 extruder mount for cable chain by ali1234 / Alistair Buxton)
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4108951 (Creality Ender 3 cable management by printario / Dario Bosshard)

I like how securely the printario's design attached to the bottom of the extruder/NEMA 17 stepper motor. However, I wanted to also use a cable chain to clean up all the cables. So, I used Tinkercad to copy the cable chain attachment of ali1234's design and attach it to printario's design. I also added some zip tie holes to keep the cables going to the hot end and steppers in place.

Note that I route the hot end wires as you would expect, but I find it better to route the Y axis stepper and end stop cables under the bracket and up into the cable chain. Use a zip tie at the end (nearest the cable chain) to keep the wired secured to the bracket and help them route into the cable chain from below.

This was designed for my Ender 3 Pro, but it should work with other Ender 3 models and similarly designed printers.
