Description

This is a casing for Quicko (Hakko clone) T12 OLED controller of T12 soldering station handpieces. You will need the kit with control board and handpiece, switch, a fuse holder and a terminal for the Makita battery.

Quicko kit: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32825705805.html
-Select kit 2

5x20mm fuse holder: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32996050824.html
-Hole size 11,75mm
-Use a 3A fuse

Switch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/312584908696
-Hole size 20mm

Makita battery terminal: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003503553024.html
-Alternatively you can print your own like i did. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:863257

M4 pan head screws, thread length 12mm.
-You may need a cut a tiny bit off the screw if you want them sitting flush.

Assembly is fairly straightforward, but here are a few things worth noting:
-The fuse holder and control board will be in very close proximity to eachother and their nuts should not be tightened before they are both seated properly.
-The casing has printed M4 threads on it, it's a good practice to clear the thread with a tap before assembly and use caution when assembling to avoid cross-threading.

I added a modified version of the Makita 18V battery holder by GPlatek that uses pan head screws. You are free to use the unmodified version that uses countersunk screws, just use either one depending on which screws you happen to have laying around.
