Door latch catch prop strike plate

This attaches in place of the metal strike plate on a door jamb. I created it to hold the door open enough so that there is better air circulation in the room so that the HVAC can work more efficiently. And it keeps the pets out of the rooms that I don't want them in. Another great thing about this design is that the door can easily be fully closed by flexing the catch away from the door. I have added different lengths for different door opening positions. Message me if you need a different length.

UPDATE 11/17/2023: Version 2 I added a brace that screws to the front of the door trim so that it doesn't break so easily. If you don't want to create a hole in the door trim, use V1. I also tapered the door stop so the door doesn't slam into the stop and break things.

Print standing, solid, no supports, and use a brim.
