Description
This is a modified roller guide that will work on any Ender with 2020 extrusion, but includes a modified gap and screw hole. If you have the Creality lightbar mounted on the top rail you know it blocks the ends of the top rail. This modified guide snaps on over it.
The friction snap fit is enough to hold it in place, but there is also hole where you can put a bolt with a t-nut to secure it to the top if needed.
The modified wheel has a smoother, deeper groove that keeps the filament centered much better than the original wheel.
The modified pins are a simple design you print with Vase mode. If you have trouble printing the original pin, or problems with the original pin breaking too easily, try these.
Print each pin, one at a time, with Spiral Mode aka Spiralize Outer Contour. Each pin should print super fast this way.
Pin2 should slide snug inside Pin1. I have provided 2 versions of Pin2 in case your tolerances are off, or you can try rescaling the pins yourself. Once Pin 1 and Pin2 are nested, the friction should keep them secure. You can also put a dab of glue inside if you don't trust them to not fall apart but I've been using mine for over a year with no issue.
