Description
How to design a traditional-style keyring tag, to print with no support? Make it foldable.
I wanted to match some existing tags which can have a label slid into the middle. It had to print quickly and with no supports, and essentially no post-processing. This was designed with the upper and lower parts joined with a thin bridge, 0.4mm wide, as a hinge.
Designed to print at 0.12mm layer height, but all the thicknesses are such that 0.2mm layer height will also match exact layer numbers.
After printing, fold them together with a small amount of dichloromethane-based plastic glue, such as Plastic Weld.
