Inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2952341, but with one key difference.
Virtually all 2.5" to 3.5" adapters place the 2.5" drive such that the 2.5" drive's SATA connector sits where the 3.5" drive's connector would. This works great if you're using SATA drives in a SATA system, but it can be problematic if you're trying to adapt a SATA drive for use in an old PATA/IDE system. This adapter sets the 2.5" drive back far enough that you can fit a SATA-PATA adapter in and the PATA connector lands approximately where it would on a real 3.5" PATA drive.
I am successfully using this adapter in a Power Mac G3 B&W and a G4 MDD, both machines where there is very little extra clearance around the drive connections. This adapter allows enough room for the PATA adapter to fit, and I think is a much cleaner solution than using velcro or drilling new holes.
