UFS-133 Potions 3X5 Index Recipe Card File Box Harry Potter

For my third designs for a 3X5 card file box, I wanted to use a knuckle hinge. I liked this one from 3DPrintBunny. The two halves are printed separately, then you use a thin rod to create the pin of the hinge. It is possible to use a piece of filament, but for better durability I recommend a metal length of wire. Good luck finding something that will fit.

I am using the 3X5 card file box shape as a way to compare different box and hinge designs.

Interior dimensions are approximately

3.25" x 5.16" or 82.6mm x 131mm

The lid does have a simple latch. There is a slot in the base for the latch to catch.

I used the Octagram Spiral fill pattern for the top of the box (since it is printed upside down, you actually set the pattern for the bottom.) This is a setting in the PrusaSlicer program.
