Description
This is another entry to my 1000mm balsa conversion warbird series. The British Spitfire is a well known plane to any WW2 enthusiast and I've tried my best to do it justice here. Built in a similar strategy as my previous conversions, using all 4mm thick spars and formers to keep it scale down ready to 60%. At full size this model is right around 500 grams, using 1 wall, 2 bottom and 2 top layers on all frame pieces at .2mm layer height with 10% gyroid infill.

2/13/2022: I've added Servo mounts in the wings and rear fuselage along with an electronics platform and a new set of bottom control horn ailerons. These are technically the v2 parts but will be included in the V1 download. I'm currently building a fullscale carbon fiber pla Spitfire now, added a couple pictures above.
