Description
On my i3 Mega S I have feet I can put squash balls as dampening element in.
Printer stands safely and vibration isolated.
So, I made some for the aluminum profiles of the vyper as well.
You might add a little double adhesive tape between the rails to make sure that the feet stays in place.
You can print it on the side or as in the stl with supports below.
The total clearance with a double-yellow ball (https://www.amazon.de/Unsquahable-Squashb%C3%A4lle-Geschwindigkeit-Extra-Langsam-382213/dp/B004E8N2LS) is about 45mm. Fits a 80x80x25mm fan mounted below. (see pictures attached)
In addition there is a 50mm block.
Printing details with supports and 20% infill (applies to 0.2mm layer height):
Lightweight Design 45mm: 2h22m / 24.4g
Standard Design 45mm: 2h27m / 26,4g
Higher Design 50mm: 2h46m / 29,9g
