Description
The standard makita straight guide (122965-7) that comes with e.g. the RT0700C router isn't bad but it doesn't allow for very precise adjustments. With this simple print and two 8mm screws precise and repeatable micro adjustments in the +-1mm range is possible. The parts have a scale with markings for 0.2mm adjustments but those are ~3mm apart so tenths of a millimeter is easy to set. Great for instance for cutting dovetail slots and pins.
Print both parts with the surfaces that slide against each other facing the print bed to get smooth adjustments. The layer steps that you then get on the surface facing the work piece can be slightly sanded away if they cause problems.
