Creality Ender 3 Cable chain

You must print the piece labelled ‘cable chain - link’ 15 times

I will release a video of how to install it in a week or two whenever i can.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for the Ender 3 v2. This has been designed for printers that have been converted to direct drive or do not have their extruder in the same place. The only extra hardware you will need is one M6x20 bolt with a nut, it does not need to be this size but if you want to use a smaller nut and bolt you will most likely need to use a washer or 2.

TO INSTALL:

First you must get the piece named ‘cable chain - top bracket’ and place it on top of the bracket where the extruder used to be mounted and place it on top with the 2 cylinders through the holes facing the back of the printer.

Next you must get the piece named ‘cable chain - bottom bracket’ and place it underneath the last piece you mounted with the cylinders passing through the two holes on the side of the piece. Make sure the link on the side of the bracket is facing up.

Now you need to use your bolt and place it through the two holes in the last two brackets you mounted securing it in place with your bolt.

Then you must get all 15 pieces you printed called ‘cable chain - link’ and attach it onto the piece named ‘cable chain - link’ with the wires/cables in the middle of it whilst rotating it 180 degrees on the y-axis making it so the cable is enclosed around the wires/cables.

Once you have attached all 15 links you now must install the piece named ‘cable chain - hotend bracket’. to install it you must unscrew the top 2 screws from your blower fan and insert them into the two holes on the part named ‘cable chain - hotend bracket’ and place it against the blower fan with the two screws lined up against where they were screwed in before and screw them back in. Make sure that the link that is part of this piece has its open side facing the front of the printer. And then connect the rest of the links.
