QIDI X-plus adapter for 300mm filament spools

The external coil holder of the Qidi X-Plus is not exactly an outstanding example of engineering. At least the usual reels do not fall off during operation and to that extent the wobbly part serves its purpose.

Unfortunately, only 200mm diameter reels fit on it if you want to print with the cover. So I made a simple adapter that provides sufficient distance. You need two of them.

To be able to hang them in, the two strange clamping flaps of the original holder have to be removed. Don't worry, they are superfluous anyway - I lost one of them when I unpacked the printer and never missed it in use. Surprisingly, the Qidi construction does not break down even with filament rolls weighing over 2kg. However, I have not tested whether it can hold two or more 300mm rolls.
