LED Christmas tree ornament

This is a easy to print LED christmas tree.

What you need:

• 2 paperclips
• PLA filament
• Transparent filament
• 1 CR2032 battery (flat round button cell)
• 1 3mm LED of choice

First you print the Battery Holder (CR2032) in a colour of choice (I used PLA black) and lid; Insert 2 paperclips with the pointy edge to the outside in the inserts and add a CR2032 battery with the flat side (+) down. Press-fit the lid and the base is ready. (I used a 0.2 layer height and 40% infill, took around 35 minutes to print).

Once the base is ready print a tree in a transparent material (I used Colorfabb _XT); Insert a LED in the slot and bend the wires around the posts as you can see on one of the pictures. the positive pin of the led (long side) should go around the thinner post, the shorter side (negative) should go around the thicker post. Now insert the tree into the base all the way down and you should have a cool LED christmas tree. I used a 0.3 layer height and 40% infill for the tree, took around 30 minutes to print).
