VTOL VR JOYSTICK

A desk mounted VR controller dock/joystick for VTOL VR. The design allows the physical joystick to be in the same location as the stick in the game and to not interfere with using the MFD’s and control panels. Rubber bands tension the joystick in pitch, roll, and yaw axis. Clamps to your desk for easy installation and removal. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Use a hammer to gently tap the ball stud into the socket. String the rubber bands on the washer using the pictures in the assembly folder. The orings can be a pain to insert into their groove. A small tool can help make it a little bit easier. They are there to keep everything tight and quiet. The desk clamp has holes for some 1/4x20 Allthread. Use lock washers and acorn nuts on the top and bottom. The allthread keeps the layers of the clamp from separating. I printed this part in PETG for better layer adhesion as well. Once its all assembled use the nylon screws to secure and tighten everything. DONT OVERTIGHTEN, this will break the carbon rods. Update 04/21/2022 I split the desk clamp jaws into two files. You will need 1/4 inch allthread and some washers and nuts to put them together. I had to do this to keep the layers from coming apart when clamping and also to make it much easier to print.
